These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pillar website and platform ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Pillar is a data integration and analytics platform operated by the legal entity described in our Privacy Policy. Contact: hello@data-zip.com.

2. Use of the Service

You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the Service to violate any law or regulation
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Upload data you do not have the right to process
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications

3. Subscription & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, in advance. Annual plans include a discount. You may cancel a monthly plan at any time before the next billing cycle; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Annual plans can be cancelled at renewal.

All prices are in EUR and exclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.

4. Your data

You retain all rights to the data you connect to Pillar. We process this data solely to deliver the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We will never sell your data or use it to train third-party models.

On termination, we provide a 30-day grace period during which you can export your data. After this period, data is deleted from production systems within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.

5. Service availability

We target 99.5% uptime for paid plans, measured monthly, excluding scheduled maintenance. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to announce scheduled maintenance in advance.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, designs, and documentation, is owned by Pillar and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other proprietary materials.

7. Warranties & liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, via email at least 30 days before taking effect.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pillar is incorporated. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
